Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through expert grooming and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend products, and upsell services to meet sales goals.
• Handle salon operations: greet clients, manage appointments, check-in/out, reminder calls, and rebooking.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and ensure humane pet conditions.
• Respond to pet health issues promptly, assist other departments, and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's 6-month Stylist in Training program and Salon Academy certification. Must excel in high-pressure environments, possess computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-filled environments. Flexible scheduling required: evenings, weekends, holidays.
