Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds PetSmart's vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through skilled grooming and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Handle check-in/out procedures, phone reservations, and sales register
- Maintain salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and ensure pet safety
- Promote merchandise/services to meet sales targets and assist other departments
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational precision, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-heavy environments.
