Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds PetSmart's vision through expert grooming, safety standards, and customer engagement in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on health solutions and upsell products
- Handle salon operations including check-ins, check-outs, and reservations
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and pet welfare
- Drive sales targets through proactive recommendations
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must demonstrate composure under pressure, computer proficiency, flexible scheduling, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-heavy environments.

Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and products
- Manage check-in/out, reservations, and client communications
- Maintain salon cleanliness and pet safety standards
- Drive salon sales and achieve productivity targets
