Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers best-in-class salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds company standards for cleanliness, pet health, and safety while driving salon success through exceptional service and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Handle check-in/out procedures, reservations, and reminder calls
- Maintain salon sanitation and respond to pet health issues
- Promote merchandise and services to meet sales targets
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience required, or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy training. Strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and products
- Manage check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Maintain salon cleanliness and pet safety standards
- Drive salon sales and achieve productivity targets
