Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds the highest standards of pet health, safety, and salon cleanliness. This role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service to drive salon success and pet parent satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart protocols.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend services/merchandise, and promote sales to meet targets.
- Handle salon operations: greet clients, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, records, and reminder calls.
- Maintain impeccable salon hygiene, perform daily/end-of-day cleaning, and ensure humane pet conditions.
- Respond swiftly to pet health issues, assist departments, and embody company values.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion (6 months training + certification). Must excel in high-pressure settings, possess computer skills, organizational prowess, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, noisy pet environments. Strong communication is essential.

35,000 - 50,000 CAD / yearly
