Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Schererville, IN location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. Uphold PetSmart's vision by maintaining cleanliness, safety, and driving salon success through exceptional service and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on health/wellness needs and recommend solutions.
• Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, reminder calls, and client records.
• Maintain salon sanitation, perform daily cleaning, and ensure pet safety.
• Promote services/merchandise to meet sales targets and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
