Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Seattle, WA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive experiences for pet parents. Uphold our vision of pet health, safety, and salon excellence while driving sales and maintaining top cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, promote services/merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Manage pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, rebooking.
- Maintain salon sanitation via daily checklists; respond to sick/injured pets and assist departments.
- Participate in Belonging culture, follow policies, and support store metrics.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to pets/noise/wet environments.
