Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Seneca, SC location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional customer experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with sales savvy and pet parent engagement in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, recommend products, and upsell services to meet sales goals.
- Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, and client records.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health issues.
- Collaborate across departments and embody company values.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in high-pressure settings, possess computer proficiency, organizational prowess, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-heavy, noisy environments. Flexible scheduling required, including evenings/weekends/holidays.
