Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in Shallotte, NC, you'll deliver exceptional salon services for dogs and cats, ensure pet health/safety, and provide outstanding pet parent experiences. Share salon responsibilities while promoting sales and wellness solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming menu and standalone services per PetSmart standards.
- Recommend health/wellness products and upsell services/merchandise.
- Handle pet parent interactions, reservations, check-in/out, and rebooking.
- Maintain salon cleanliness, sanitation, and humane conditions daily.
- Respond to sick/injured pets and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Required
- Prior grooming experience or 6 months Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification.
- Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
- Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays; ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50-100 lbs, work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
