Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. Uphold safety standards, drive sales, and maintain a clean environment in our vibrant Shawnee store. Full-time role with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services/merchandise to boost sales targets.
• Manage pet parent interactions: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, rebooking.
• Ensure salon sanitation, humane pet conditions, and immediate action on health issues (e.g., vet transport).
• Assist other departments, follow policies, and participate in recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification/technical evaluation pass. Need computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, strong communication, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
