Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Sicklerville, NJ location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents alike. This role emphasizes pet health, safety, and exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Drive salon sales through recommendations and promotions
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and report pet health issues
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and client communications
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in customer service, organization, and multitasking under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a pet-filled environment. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and merchandise
- Manage check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Maintain salon cleanliness and pet safety standards
- Assist with sales targets and other store duties as needed
