Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in Spokane, WA, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, engage pet parents, and maintain top safety standards. This role offers flexibility, impact, and the joy of making tails wag daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services.
- Consult with pet parents on health solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls.
- Drive salon sales through recommendations and merchandising.
- Ensure salon cleanliness, pet safety; respond to health issues and assist other departments.
- Uphold company policies in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment.
Experience & Skills
- Prior grooming or 6 months PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification.
- Strong communication, organization, composure under pressure.
- Flexible schedule for evenings/weekends/holidays; lift 50+ lbs.
- Comfort in wet, noisy settings with live animals; computer proficiency.
