Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll handle full grooming menus, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to salon success while prioritizing pet health and safety. This role demands flexibility, compassion, and a love for animals in a fast-paced store setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and recommend solutions.
• Manage appointments, check-ins/outs, reminders, and rebookings.
• Promote services and merchandise to meet sales targets.
• Ensure salon cleanliness, perform maintenance, and respond to pet health issues.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, communicate effectively, and lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+). Physical demands include standing, stooping, and working in pet hair-filled, noisy environments with live animals.
