Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services while ensuring pet health, safety, and positive pet parent experiences. Based in Taylors, South Carolina, this role combines hands-on grooming expertise with customer engagement to uphold our vision of best-in-class pet care.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on health solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
- Promote salon sales, recommend merchandise, and maintain cleanliness through daily maintenance checklists.
- Respond to pet health issues, assist other departments, and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
