PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. Uphold safety standards, drive sales, and maintain a spotless salon environment. This dynamic role combines hands-on grooming with customer engagement in a fast-paced retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and recommend solutions.
- Handle appointments, check-ins, check-outs, and reminder calls.
- Promote merchandise, services, and salon growth to meet targets.
- Ensure salon cleanliness, pet safety, and immediate action on health issues.
Experience & Skills
Require prior grooming experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, and communicate effectively. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-heavy environments. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays essential.

- Perform full grooming services including bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing

- Promote salon sales and assist other departments as needed
