Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Tomball, Texas location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer service and sales to drive salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls; maintain client records.
- Recommend wellness solutions, promote services/merchandise to meet sales targets.
- Uphold salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues.
- Assist other departments and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Prior grooming experience required, or 6 months as Stylist in Training with PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure essential. Flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays; physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in wet/noisy environments with animals.
