Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Groomers (Pet Stylists) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring pet health, safety, and satisfaction. Based in Toronto, Ontario, this role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and upsell services/merchandise.
- Manage appointments, client records, and salon operations.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and report pet health issues promptly.
- Drive salon sales to meet targets and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in high-pressure settings, possess strong communication, organizational skills, and physical stamina (lifting 50+ lbs). Flexibility for evenings/weekends required. Computer proficiency essential.
Physical Demands & Environment
Role involves standing, lifting, pet handling in a wet, noisy salon with moderate-high noise exposure. Depth perception and team lifting for heavier pets needed.

- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Promote salon sales and achieve productivity targets
