Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds the highest standards of pet health, safety, and salon cleanliness. This dynamic role combines technical grooming expertise with outstanding customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart protocols.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
- Drive salon sales through recommendations, merchandising, and achieving productivity targets.
- Maintain impeccable salon hygiene, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health emergencies.
- Assist across departments, follow company policies, and foster a positive team culture.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational prowess, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in pet-filled, noisy settings with reasonable accommodations available.

- Excellent written and verbal communication (experience)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle pets in dynamic environment (experience)
Responsibilities
