Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This hands-on role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while contributing to salon success through sales and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, and handle check-in/out procedures.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond to pet health issues immediately.
- Promote services and merchandise to meet sales targets and enhance pet parent experiences.
- Participate in team efforts across departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Key traits include composure under pressure, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong organization, communication skills, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs in a pet-filled environment. Computer proficiency required.

Responsibilities

- Drive salon sales through merchandise and service promotions
- Assist in other departments and respond to pet emergencies
