Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds our vision of best-in-class grooming while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and sales excellence in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and reminder calls.
- Drive salon sales by recommending products/services and achieving productivity targets.
- Ensure salon hygiene, pet safety; respond to health issues including vet transport.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Key traits: computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational precision, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to pets/noise/water.
