Role Overview

PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and parents. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer service, salon management, and sales to uphold our high standards of pet health, safety, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services/products to enhance pet care.
• Handle salon operations: greetings, reservations, check-in/out, reminder calls, client records.
• Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily/end-of-day maintenance, ensure humane pet conditions.
• Drive sales growth, achieve targets; assist in other store areas as needed; respond to pet health emergencies.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's 6-month Stylist in Training program and Salon Academy certification. Must excel in high-pressure environments, possess computer proficiency, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet/noisy conditions with animals.
