Role Overview

PetSmart Pet Stylists (Dog/Cat Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer service, salon management, and sales to uphold our high standards of pet health, safety, and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards, including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care.
• Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services/products, and drive salon sales targets.
• Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, reminder calls, and maintain accurate client records.
• Ensure salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and respond to pet health issues by coordinating vet transport if needed.
• Collaborate across departments, follow policies, and contribute to our inclusive culture.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or successful PetSmart Salon Academy completion (6 months training). Must demonstrate computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
