Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) at PetSmart in Walla Walla, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. Uphold company standards for pet health, safety, and salon excellence while contributing to sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu including baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs, recommend services, and drive salon sales.
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, reminder calls, and maintain accurate client records.
- Ensure salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond immediately to sick or injured pets.
- Assist other departments and follow all company policies.
Experience & Skills
- Prior grooming experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy training and certification.
- Computer proficiency, strong communication, and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a pet-filled environment.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail (experience)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (experience)
Responsibilities
