Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through expert grooming and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services like baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care following PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage appointments, check-ins/outs, and rebookings.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and humane conditions; respond swiftly to pet health issues.
- Boost sales by recommending products/services and achieving salon metrics.
- Greet clients, handle inquiries, and promote a welcoming environment.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training plus Salon Academy certification. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, and communicate effectively. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a pet-filled environment with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Drive salon sales through promotions and merchandise recommendations
- Participate in store culture, follow policies, and assist other departments as needed
