Role Overview

PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive pet parent experiences. You'll perform full grooming menus, maintain salon standards, and contribute to store success through sales and safety protocols. This hands-on role demands flexibility, pet passion, and customer focus in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute bath, brush, grooming, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on health/wellness solutions and rebook appointments.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, reminder calls, and sales register interactions.
• Promote merchandise/services to meet salon sales targets.
• Ensure salon cleanliness, pet safety; respond to sick/injured pets and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Require prior grooming experience or 6 months as PetSmart Stylist in Training with Salon Academy certification. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, communicate effectively, and organize meticulously. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, noisy environment with live animals.
