Role Overview
As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our West Covina, California location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional pet parent experiences. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer engagement and salon operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Handle check-in/out procedures, reservations, and sales promotions
- Maintain salon cleanliness and respond to pet health issues
- Collaborate across departments to support store goals
Experience & Skills
Requires prior grooming experience or successful completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must have computer proficiency, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, strong communication, and ability to lift 50+ lbs in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.

- Promote salon sales and achieve productivity targets
