Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog and/or Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role upholds our vision of pet health, safety, and satisfaction while driving salon success through expert grooming and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions, manage reservations, check-ins/outs, and client records.
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness, perform daily maintenance, and ensure humane pet conditions.
- Drive sales by recommending products/services and achieving productivity targets.
- Respond to pet health issues, assist departments, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or 6 months in PetSmart's Stylist in Training program plus Salon Academy certification. Must excel in computer use, stay composed under pressure, communicate effectively, and handle flexible schedules including evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in pet-heavy environments.
