Role Overview
Our Pet Stylists (Dog Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring pet health, safety, and parent satisfaction. Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, this role combines hands-on grooming expertise with customer engagement to uphold PetSmart's vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming menu per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook services
- Drive salon sales through recommendations and promotions
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and report pet health issues promptly
- Handle check-ins, calls, and multi-department support
Experience & Skills
Required
- Prior grooming or PetSmart Salon Academy completion/certification
- Physical ability to lift 50lbs+, stand extensively, work in wet/noisy environments
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays

- Capacity to lift 50+ lbs and handle physical demands (experience)
- Composure under pressure (experience)
Responsibilities
- Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care
- Engage pet parents to recommend services and products driving salon sales
- Manage check-in/out, reservations, and client records
- Maintain salon cleanliness, pet safety, and health standards
- Assist with sick/injured pets and inter-department support
