Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylists (Dog Groomers) deliver exceptional salon services, ensuring pet safety and customer satisfaction. This role combines hands-on grooming expertise with customer engagement to drive salon success in our Winnipeg location.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Consult with pet parents on wellness needs and upsell services/merchandise.
- Handle salon operations including bookings, check-ins, and record-keeping.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and respond to pet health emergencies.
- Collaborate across departments to support store goals.
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in fast-paced settings, communicate effectively, and lift up to 50 lbs. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Strong organizational skills ensure safe, humane pet care in a dynamic salon environment.

- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and handle pets in wet/noisy environment (experience)
Responsibilities

- Manage check-in/out procedures, reservations, and client communications
- Maintain salon cleanliness, pet safety, and respond to pet health issues
