Role Overview
PetSmart's Pet Stylist (Dog/Cat Groomer) delivers exceptional salon services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This role combines technical grooming expertise with customer service, salon maintenance, and sales to uphold our high standards of pet health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently execute full grooming services per PetSmart standards
- Consult with pet parents on wellness solutions and rebook appointments
- Handle check-in/out procedures, phone reservations, and client records
- Maintain impeccable salon cleanliness and monitor pet well-being
- Drive sales through product recommendations and service promotions
Experience & Skills
Seeking groomers with prior experience or completion of PetSmart's Salon Academy. Must excel in high-pressure environments, possess strong communication, organizational skills, and computer proficiency. Flexibility for evenings/weekends required. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs and working in pet-heavy environments.
