Role Overview

As a Pet Groomer (Pet Stylist) in our Yorba Linda, CA location, you'll deliver best-in-class salon services for dogs and cats while ensuring pet health, safety, and exceptional customer experiences. Share responsibility for salon operations, cleanliness, and driving sales in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute full grooming menu: baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Consult with pet parents on needs, recommend wellness solutions, and upsell merchandise/services to meet sales goals.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, reminder calls, and client records; greet and assist customers in-person and via phone.
• Maintain salon sanitation, humane conditions, and perform daily/end-of-day cleaning; respond to pet health issues including vet transport.
• Participate in team culture, follow policies, and support other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

Seeking groomers with prior experience or 6+ months as Stylist in Training plus PetSmart Salon Academy certification. Must have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, noisy environment with live animals.
