Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services, trains new associates, and ensures outstanding pet parent satisfaction. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build high-performing salon teams and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Train bathers/stylists, mentor through certification, provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
• Enhance salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, drive sales/rebookings.
• Execute grooming services: Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
• Maintain operations: Ensure cleanliness, pet safety, report issues, communicate needs to leadership.
• Support store goals: Promote products, assist other departments, uphold policies/ethics.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, organization, and ability to thrive under pressure. No direct reports, but guide associate growth.
