Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services with a focus on pet safety and quality. This leadership role supports high-performing teams by training bathers and stylists through PetSmart's development programs, ensuring exceptional pet parent experiences and salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Onboard, mentor, and coach associates; facilitate certifications; delegate tasks; handle feedback and engagement.
- Salon & Store Experience: Greet pet parents, manage bookings, promote services; perform full grooming menu; maintain hygiene and report pet health issues.
- Business Growth: Drive sales, rebookings, and promotions; communicate trends to leadership; assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports, but guide associate development.
