Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new associates, and elevates the salon team. This full-time role combines hands-on pet care with leadership to ensure exceptional pet parent satisfaction and salon success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Train bathers/stylists, mentor through certification, provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
- Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales targets.
- Execute grooming: Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
- Maintain standards: Ensure cleanliness, pet safety, report issues, communicate needs to leadership.
- Support store: Assist other departments, handle grievances, celebrate team wins.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, communication skills, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. No direct reports but guide associate growth.
