Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services with exceptional quality and care. You'll lead team development, support pet parents, and drive salon performance while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values. This full-time role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate associate training, onboarding, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Develop bathers/stylists via certification and identify academy candidates.
- Provide outstanding pet parent service, manage bookings, and promote services.
- Perform full grooming menu including baths, brushes, nails, and sanitary services.
- Maintain salon standards, ensure pet safety, and report issues promptly.
- Drive sales, engagement, and operational excellence across the store.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. Guide associates without direct reports.
