Role Overview
As PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer), deliver exceptional grooming services while leading team development. Uphold our vision of quality pet care, train bathers/new stylists through certification, and drive salon success in a high-energy store setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach associates; provide feedback for reviews/promotions; identify stylist candidates.
- Excel in salon operations: Perform baths, grooms, nail trims; maintain cleanliness/sanitation; ensure pet safety & report issues.
- Enhance pet parent experience: Greet, recommend services, handle inquiries, drive rebookings & promotions via booking systems.
- Boost performance: Delegate tasks, sell services/merchandise, communicate needs to leaders, assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, organization, and composure. Guide associates without direct reports.
