Role Overview
As Pet Groomer & Salon Trainer (Salon Experience Lead), deliver professional grooming services while leading team development. Support bathers and stylists through certification, ensure exceptional pet parent experiences, and drive salon performance upholding PetSmart's vision.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach associates; identify stylist candidates; delegate tasks; handle feedback and engagement.
- Salon & Store Experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, maintain cleanliness/sanitation, perform full grooming menu, promote sales, report issues.
- Assist other departments and ensure pet welfare, including vet transport if needed.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail. No direct reports but guide associate growth.
