Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new associates, and ensures exceptional pet parent satisfaction. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build high-performing salon teams and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach bathers/stylists through certification, provide performance feedback, and identify academy candidates.
• Enhance salon/store experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales, and resolve concerns.
• Execute grooming services: Perform baths, brushes, full grooms, nail trims, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Maintain operations: Ensure cleanliness, safety, report issues, and communicate needs to leadership.
• Drive results: Achieve sales targets, rebook appointments, and foster associate engagement.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and ability to thrive under pressure. No direct reports, but guide associate growth.
