Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains emerging talent, and elevates the salon team. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to ensure exceptional pet care, customer satisfaction, and salon success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead associate development: Train bathers/stylists, mentor through certification, provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
• Drive pet parent engagement: Greet customers, recommend services, handle inquiries, promote rebookings & sales.
• Execute professional grooming: Perform baths, brushes, full grooms, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
• Maintain salon excellence: Ensure cleanliness, safety, inventory; report issues; assist other departments as needed.
• Foster team culture: Delegate tasks, resolve grievances, celebrate wins to boost engagement.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Passion for pets and leadership mindset essential. No direct reports, but guide associate growth.
