Role Overview

As PetSmart's Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer), you'll deliver professional grooming services while leading team development. Support bathers and stylists through certification, ensure exceptional pet parent experiences, and drive salon performance upholding our vision of quality pet care.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Train, mentor, onboard associates; provide feedback for reviews, promotions, and discipline.
• Guide bather/stylist certification and identify academy candidates.
• Deliver full grooming services (bath, brush, nails, teeth, sanitary) per standards.
• Manage pet parent interactions: Greet, recommend solutions, rebook, promote services.
• Maintain salon operations: Cleanliness, safety, inventory; report issues and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, organization, and composure. No direct reports but guide associate growth.
