Role Overview

As PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer), deliver professional grooming services while training bathers and stylists. Uphold quality care, support high-performing teams, and drive pet parent satisfaction in a fast-paced salon environment.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Onboard, mentor, and coach associates; guide through stylist certification; delegate tasks and handle grievances.
• Salon Experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Grooming Expertise: Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, and full grooms; maintain humane conditions and report pet health issues.
• Operational Excellence: Keep salon clean/sanitized, communicate needs to leaders, and assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and composure under pressure. No direct reports but guide associate development.
