Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers professional grooming services with exceptional quality and care. This leadership role supports high-performing teams by training bathers and stylists through PetSmart's development program, ensuring outstanding pet parent experiences and salon operations.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Onboard, mentor, coach associates; guide certifications; delegate tasks; handle feedback, grievances, and recognition.
- Salon & Store Experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, drive rebookings/sales; maintain cleanliness/sanitation; report pet health issues; use booking systems.
- Perform full grooming menu safely; promote wellness solutions; assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. No direct reports but guide associate development.
