Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new associates, and ensures exceptional pet parent satisfaction. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build a high-performing salon team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Train bathers/stylists, mentor associates, provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
- Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales.
- Execute grooming: Perform baths, brushes, full grooms, nail trims safely per PetSmart standards.
- Maintain operations: Ensure cleanliness, report issues, handle pet health concerns promptly.
- Collaborate: Communicate trends to leaders, assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational skills. No direct reports, but guide team growth.
