Role Overview
The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new associates, and ensures exceptional pet parent satisfaction. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build high-performing salon teams and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people development: Train bathers/stylists, mentor through certification, provide feedback for reviews/promotions.
- Deliver grooming excellence: Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, and full services per PetSmart standards.
- Enhance customer experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, and promote rebookings/sales.
- Maintain salon operations: Ensure cleanliness, safety, report issues, and collaborate with store leaders.
- Drive performance: Achieve sales targets, monitor metrics, and foster associate engagement.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, strong communication, and composure under pressure. No direct reports, but guide associate growth.
