Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains emerging talent, and elevates the salon to peak performance. This full-time role demands leadership without direct reports, focusing on associate development, pet parent satisfaction, and salon excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, coach bathers/stylists through certification; provide performance feedback and identify academy candidates.
• Drive salon experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, manage bookings, promote sales, and ensure rebookings.
• Execute grooming: Perform full baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Maintain operations: Uphold cleanliness, safety, report issues, and communicate needs to leadership.
• Support store: Assist other departments and handle pet welfare emergencies.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, composure under pressure, and organizational detail-orientation. Passion for pets and leadership mindset essential.
