Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new associates, and ensures exceptional pet parent satisfaction. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build high-performing salon teams and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, and certify bathers/stylists; provide performance feedback and identify academy candidates.
• Execute grooming services: Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, and full grooms per PetSmart standards with utmost pet care.
• Enhance customer experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, handle inquiries, and promote rebookings/marketing.
• Maintain operations: Ensure salon cleanliness, safety, and compliance; report issues and manage supplies.
• Drive results: Boost sales, productivity, and engagement while assisting store-wide as needed.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, communication skills, and composure under pressure. No direct reports, but guide associate growth effectively.
