Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new associates, and ensures exceptional pet parent satisfaction. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build high-performing salon teams and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Onboard, mentor, and coach bathers/stylists through certification programs; provide performance feedback.
• Execute professional grooming: Perform baths, brushes, cuts, nail trims, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Enhance customer experience: Greet pet parents, recommend services, handle inquiries, and promote rebookings/marketing.
• Maintain operations: Ensure salon cleanliness, pet safety, inventory reporting, and compliance with policies.
• Drive results: Achieve sales targets, monitor metrics, and collaborate with store leadership on trends.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability, tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and ability to stay composed under pressure. Passion for pets and leadership mindset essential.
