Role Overview

As Pet Groomer & Salon Trainer in Milton, Ontario, you'll deliver professional grooming services while leading and developing our salon team. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming expertise with leadership, training bathers and stylists through PetSmart's development program to ensure exceptional pet care and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead people development: Train, mentor, and coach associates through bather/stylist certification, provide performance feedback, and identify academy candidates.
• Drive salon excellence: Perform full grooming services, maintain cleanliness/sanitation, and ensure humane pet conditions.
• Enhance pet parent experience: Greet customers, recommend services, manage bookings, resolve concerns, and promote rebookings/sales.
• Operational leadership: Delegate tasks, report trends, communicate needs, and uphold policies/ethics.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, and composure under pressure. Organizational skills and pet safety focus essential.
