Role Overview
As PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer), deliver professional grooming services while leading team development. Support bathers and stylists through certification, ensure exceptional pet parent experiences, and drive salon performance upholding company values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Train/mentor associates, facilitate onboarding/coaching, identify stylist candidates, delegate tasks, handle grievances, and boost engagement.
- Salon & Store Experience: Manage pet parent interactions (phone/in-person/online), perform full grooming services, promote sales/rebookings, maintain cleanliness/sanitation, report pet health issues, and communicate business needs.
Experience & Skills
Require 2+ years grooming (technical exam possible), full-time flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), tool proficiency, computer skills, strong communication, pressure handling, and organizational/detail-oriented mindset. Guide associates without direct reports.
