Role Overview

The Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) delivers top-tier grooming services, trains new bathers and stylists, and ensures exceptional pet parent experiences. This full-time role combines hands-on grooming with leadership to build high-performing salon teams and drive salon success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead associate development: Onboard, mentor, coach bathers/stylists through certification programs, provide performance feedback.
• Perform professional grooming: Full baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing per PetSmart standards.
• Enhance pet parent experience: Greet, consult, recommend services, handle bookings/concerns, promote rebookings/sales.
• Maintain salon excellence: Ensure cleanliness, safety, humane conditions; report pet health issues promptly.
• Drive business results: Monitor metrics, communicate trends, order supplies, support store-wide tasks.

Experience & Skills

Require 2+ years grooming experience (technical exam possible), full availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), proficiency in grooming tools/computers, strong communication/organizational skills, and ability to thrive under pressure. Passion for pets and team leadership essential.
